Experiencing false trips due to high harmonic loads?
Basler's newly designed ES Series Protection Relays use sophisticated Fundamental Sensing technology, not usually found in a low cost protective relay, to provide high-end harmonic protection capabilities that prevent false tripping and allow users to be more selective with their settings.
Sensing circuits detect the fundamental component of the waveform, rejecting harmonic components. Fundamental sensing provides accurate signal measurement in high harmonic applications such as UPS systems and variable speed drives.
ES Protection Relays cover a wide range of applications including Generator, Transformer, Distribution, Process Control, Auto Transfer Schemes, and Motor Applications.
