Established in 1997, United Instruments' original business entailed servicing major corporations throughout the U.S. with their advanced pressure and humidity calibration services.

In 1998, owner and former employee of Tempo Instruments - Mark Grigoraki, purchased the rights to manufacture and market the precision Low Pressure Calibration System (model LPC) from Tempo (formerly Protimeter). The LPC is well recognized as a leading laboratory low pressure measuring system used to test and calibrate low pressure sensing devices.

Humidity and Temperature is another part of United Instruments' business. United Instruments is the only exclusive company that calibrates a temperature and humidity sensor for GE. This has been an ongoing project with GE for the last 10 years.

Today, United Instruments continues to cater to the needs of major corporations with their calibration services while expanding its effort to market the LPC to Metrology labs worldwide.

We brought this experience to the electric utility industry to develop sensors to monitor pressure, temperature and oil level in distribution network transformers. Our sensors are hard wired and wireless and designed to survive in this harsh environment. We also have an extensive research and development group capable of taking your ideas to finish product. Our team has developed over a dozen different products for both the utility and sensor industry.
