Cable Testing and Tan Delta Diagnostics in One Device
The portable and lightweight Frida TD can be used for cable testing and tan delta diagnostic testing on medium voltage cables up to 24 kVRMS. The patented truesinus® voltage generation technology allows for no distortion in the sinewave and provides a precise basis for reproducible and highly accurate results.
The Frida TD offers the following features and benefits:
- Integrated tan delta measuring function requires no additional external hardware for a quick and easy test set up.
- Testing and diagnostic sequences, as well as evaluation criteria, are automatic according to IEEE 400.2
- Individual test sequences and evaluations can be easily programmed and saved.
- Very high tan delta precision 1x10-4
- Immediate tan delta signaling during the test: OK | CRITICAL | BAD
- Expandable to a complete cable diagnostic tool with the BAUR PD-TaD 60 portable PD diagnostics system.
