The BAUR Syscompact 2000 M Pro is a single phase, compact system that can be used to pre-locate and pin-point faults in low voltage and medium voltage cables. The fully integrated surge generator is fitted to provide a high surge energy up to 1,024 J and is used for the pre-location methods as well as to acoustically pin-point the fault location.

The combination of the IRG 2000 (TDR) and the integrated automatic surge generator with 2 different selectable output voltage levels up to 16 kV guarantees a reliable location of low resistance and high resistance cable faults including intermittent faults.
