As you can see, the traditional gauge is impossible to read clearly from a distance due to the condensation inside the glass. The B100 Electronic Temperature Monitor (ETM) has no condensation because of its rugged NEMA 4/IP66 exterior making the screen easy to read, even from a distance.
ETMs are the modern equivalent to a traditional gauge. Both options measure top oil, winding and LTC (if applicable) temperatures. The difference between traditional gauges and the B100 ETM is that the B100 is easy to use, has the ability to alarm, gives thermal info in real time and is overall more reliable.
