Plastibeton®, The Solid Approach to Trenching from Oldcastle
Oldcastle Enclosures Solutions is set to feature several new product introductions and legacy product line enhancements at IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition, to take place in Denver, Colorado April 17 through April 19, 2018.
Our Plastibeton® Channel system is a trusted solution used by power companies, wireless carriers, rail lines and data centers throughout North America to contain power, control, signal, coax, communication and fiber optic cables.
Plastibeton® Channel system offers multiple cable trench covers. Our standard covers deliver H20 AASHTO strength. We offer Pedestrian rated covers, grated covers, galvanized steel covers, and heavy duty (HD) covers in our Plastibeton® product line. Our newest cover offering is a light weight cover that delivers the same strength as our standard cover, but is up to thirty percent lighter in weight. The new light weight covers are safe to handle as a two-person lift, meeting OSHA guidelines for safe handling. Unlike other lightweight covers on the market, our Plastibeton® LW covers can be cut in the field, without losing integrity.
Job requirements using our Plastibeton® Channel system product line can benefit from our wide array of accessories. We offer locking covers that help protect your critical assets, dividers for organization of cables, and cable clips that offer a ground wire solution within the cable trench. In addition, we offer unistrut for rigid cable management solution, corner protectors to shield the cables from damage, and firestop to minimize the spread of flames through a trench run.
We are pleased to introduce a new accessory that will be on display in our booth, a cable the riser. This enclosure protects and distributes the cables into control houses.
