2020 IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition
A FUTURE ELECTRIFIED THROUGH MUSIC AND ACTION
As we focus on the innovations that will make the electric grid more reliable, more resilient and more sustainable, we're excited to welcome an unprecedented keynote speaker and musical experience to this year's IEEE PES T&D Opening Session.
IN CONCERT WITH THE WORLD AROUND US
The opening session all begins with the ClimateMusic Project, an extraordinary collaboration of artists and scientists who create and perform music that communicates the urgency we face with the climate crisis. It's a memorable, innovative way to use music to make the science comprehensible in helping drive listeners to act.

SUSTAINABILITY TAKES CENTER STAGE
Following the ClimateMusic Project performance, Christiana Figueres, the keynote speaker, will build off of her experience leading the negotiation for the Paris Climate Accords to tell the story of not just how we got here, but where we could be going. As one of the most important diplomats in the world, Figueres is one of the leading voices in fighting the climate crisis today.
