The opening session all begins with the ClimateMusic Project, an extraordinary collaboration of artists and scientists who create and perform music that communicates the urgency we face with the climate crisis. It's a memorable, innovative way to use music to make the science comprehensible in helping drive listeners to act.

Following the ClimateMusic Project performance, Christiana Figueres, the keynote speaker, will build off of her experience leading the negotiation for the Paris Climate Accords to tell the story of not just how we got here, but where we could be going. As one of the most important diplomats in the world, Figueres is one of the leading voices in fighting the climate crisis today.
