Saf-T-Gard International, Inc. announced that the company's Voltgard® Test Lab has been reaccredited by the North American Independent Laboratories for Protective Equipment Testing (NAIL4PET), a non-profit organization that helps develop uniformity in testing and works in close association with the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). NAIL4PET-accredited laboratories are charged to promote service, candor, justice and the public welfare in safety. This recognition certifies that the Voltgard® Test Lab has satisfied all of the conditions specified in the NAIL4PET Laboratory criteria including the laboratory facility, equipment, training and knowledge of staff, quality control work procedures, adequacy of management and financial responsibility, etc.

This three-year accreditation is valid from March 12, 2020 through March 11, 2023 and applies to the following categories of lineman's high voltage equipment testing: Insulating gloves, sleeves, blankets, line hoses, covers, dielectric footwear, jumper cables, grounding sets, hot sticks and live line tools, insulated and insulating hand tools, plastic guards and matting - all to applicable ASTM standards.
